About Jennifer Holloway
When it comes to personal branding, Jennifer Holloway knows her stuff. From her corporate days running press offices to being the boss of her own business she’s built relationships, gained clients and stayed on people’s radars by promoting who she is – not just what she does. Now, as the author of Personal Branding for Brits, she’s taken what she’s learned and created a practical guide to blowing your own trumpet to help as many people as possible discover being successful means being yourself (even if that’s admitting you’re a fan of The Archers like she is!)
Jennifer first experienced the benefits of promoting a personal brand when she worked with the media. By getting journalists to buy into her, not just her stories, she garnered front page headlines and appearances on The Today Programme, BBC Breakfast and Sky News. Then when she made the tough decision to go it alone and launch Spark, her personal brand became the epitome of what she was selling.
As well as her knack for spotting someone’s USP and talent for bringing their brand to life, Jennifer offers another valuable service: straight-talking honesty. Known as ‘The Antidote to Yes Men’ her sassy style is suited to those who like a challenge and are driven to keep moving forwards (just as she is).
Jennifer loves to talk about personal brand whether that’s delivering speeches to large audiences, running workshops for smaller groups or helping clients one-to-one. She’s been told her enthusiasm is so contagious she leaves her audiences’ heads buzzing with ideas – from changing their voicemail message to writing their elevator pitch.
Jennifer balances being in the limelight by living her version of The Good Life in the Yorkshire Dales: pottering around the garden in an anorak and wellies, keeping bees and feeding chickens, then ending the day with a well-deserved glass of Rioja.
Jennifer’s clients include Microsoft, Asda, The Co-Operative Bank, RBS, Hallmark and Arla and she frequently travels to London, Edinburgh and other major cities for her work, plus offers an international service via Skype.
