About Adrian Williams
Adrian Williams’ career in taxation and accountancy spans over 36 years. He started out working for HM Revenue & Customs. There he gained valuable experience dealing with the taxation affairs of the self-employed, employees, company directors and trusts.
He then moved to international accountancy firm KPMG where he handled the personal tax affairs of a variety of business owners, business leaders and high net worth individuals. His work also encompassed employer PAYE compliance and personal tax planning.
His next move was to Champion Chartered Accountants in Manchester. Here, Adrian was in charge of corporate and personal tax compliance during a period of rapid growth for the firm. He diversified into various different areas including corporate tax planning, tax efficient extraction of company profits, tax investigations and also business development.
In 2003, Adrian left to set up his own taxation and accountancy practice Williams Associates. His firm now provides a full taxation and accountancy service to a wide and varying range of high net worth individuals, businesses and companies throughout the UK and internationally. His firm’s specialist areas are defending the more serious tax investigations and business development.
When not working, Adrian enjoys cycling, cars and music, especially playing his bass guitar.
He is currently writing a business development book due for publication next year.
