About Chris Payne
Christopher John Payne set up and ran a company called LifeTools for 17 years, selling personal development products by mail order in the UK. At its peak, Chris generated sales revenue in the millions of dollars a year. Chris mailed one million sales letters in one year alone – each consisting of a 8-12-page letter, colour brochure, order form, reply-paid envelope.
The first CD set he created, The Effort-Free Life System, generated more than US$3 million in sales. He has created DVD courses; workbooks; single CDs; multi CD sets; online video courses, and more. He has appeared on TV and radio in the UK, and on radio in the US.
He has run seminars in the UK, US and Australia, with as many as 2,200 in the audience. In 2011 he co-organised a TEDx conference in Abu Dhabi, raised £50,000 (US$80,000) in funds from the Emirati government, trained most of the presenters for each of their 18-minute talks, and delivered one of the presentations himself to an audience of 850.
Chris now acts as a consultant, helping people turn their knowledge into products. For example, he helped one client develop a CD set to enable accountants to become better marketers. That CD set sells for £595 (US$900).
With a small team around him, he also helps clients identify new niches to address; he builds those micro sites for them if necessary, and helps clients find their core story and message so they can turn out quality blog posts, videos, and paid-for content, quickly and easily.
